I recently visited Hill Street Grocer in Devonport, Tasmania, and I was thoroughly impressed. The store is large and well-organised, with dedicated counters for various types of food, including meat, salads, deserts, and cheese. The selection of products is top-notch, with a focus on artisanal and specialised items that you might not find at other supermarkets like Coles, Woolworths, or IGAs. The store even has its own butchers, which is a great sign of the quality of the meat they carry.
One thing to note is that the prices at Hill Street Grocer are usually higher than at other supermarkets. However, I found that there were good deals to be had throughout the week, and especially on Mondays. If you’re willing to pay a bit more for higher quality food, then Hill Street Grocer is definitely worth a visit. All in all, I was very happy with my experience at this supermarket, and I will definitely be returning in the future.
